awesome concept, Jeff. 1) Moving waiting bikes forward increases visibility to motorists considerably, since they are now always in the ped crossing lane. 2) refuge for northbound bikes in bike lane at far end of intersection eliminates a pinch point since currently bikes need to move left mid-intersection to land in the bike lane, and motorists are apt to have right tire in bike lane there.
